So many plebs here, viewsonic xg2401 panel is not only one of the best on the market as it's one of the cheapest. Too many spoiled rich brats without technological knowledge in here.

I am really enjoying mine. Highly recommend it. Recently went from a 27in Acer TN panel @ 144hz 1ms response to the Viewsonic XG2401 after a lot of research. Really would have been nice to get a drop on it and save a few more bucks.
The ASUS MG279Q definitely deserves some more love. These small differences in response time don't justify choosing a TN over an IPS nowadays, imo. At least when the IPS is as fast as the MG279Q's one.
I added the Acer XF270HU, if that's ok. :x ....I've heard a lot of good things about that one.
I can speak for the quality of the MSI Optix g24c. It comes with hdmi and display port cables. the stand isn't actually that bright of a red either. Great monitor!
I want to see the crossover 27 144hz monitor that Linus reviewed! I wonder if it could drop for under $250?
I hope this monitor drops at a 100$ price range πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Funniest thing is I have both of these monitor on my desk right now. I use the Samsung as my main, and portrait the BenQ. Highly recommend both.
The Viewsonic XG2401 is much better IMO than the ASUS 24" VG248QE. The Asus caused a lot of eye strain after long periods of time. The viewsonic filters out blue light so its easier on the eyes.

That model is crap... the VG248QR is much better... freesync and blue light filter. Definitely worth the extra $25. $200 here: http://www.microcenter.com/product/480187/MG248QR_24_TN_Gaming_LED_Monitor
