Bring the Yubikey NEO :) all the new phones, cameras, tablets and other devices have NFC.. no one is going to find a laptop to plug into and get the passcode out and then type it back into the phone
Our company has been contemplating getting YubiKeys for several of us (5 or 6 of the main people) so if we could get them a little cheaper, all the better. Now that two level authentication is becoming more popular and more systems support it so it becomes a lot more appealing.
It would be nice to get a progress update on this if possible. Considering you can already buy basic yubikeys in lots of 50 for a $10 discount per unit without even needing to contact them for a custom order/quote I would think 120 votes is sufficient demand for this type of niche drop.
Hey, thanks for the info. It looks like we'll be able to run this buy sometime quite soon (hopefully later this week). If 50 people join the group, we can bring the price of every key down to $15 from $25. We'll also be working with Yubico to see if we can get better pricing if the group reaches an even bigger size.
