This cannot be done due to the laws of supply and demand. Someone else tried to create a similar poll after the Aune T1 group buy here. The only 6922 tubes currently being manufactured are made by Electroharmonix, JJ, Ei, Sovtek, Genalex and Shuguang (who frequently label theirs as "Amperex"). You "might" be able to get a discount on volume purchase of their tubes. The thing is, none of the tubes made by those manufacturers are as highly regarded as anything made by Amperex or Telefunken. The "Upgrade" Aune T1 ships with an Electroharmonix 6922 because those are still being manufactured and are a decent enough tube. If Aune sold their amps with say, Amperex tubes, the price of their amplifiers would be constantly going up based on the lowering availability of Amperex tubes. Eventually they'd hit a wall where none were available anymore. This wall is coming for all NOS tubes. Any other manufacturer is now long out of the vacuum tube business and therefore there is a finite amount of their tubes available on the planet. Technically, by doing a group buy of say... 200 NOS tubes, you would be increasing the price for yourself and everyone else because there are then 200 fewer available for sale. Being that group buys work by economy of scale, there is a negative scale to NOS vacuum tubes. No one can ramp up production to meet an increasing demand and it's for that reason that 7308 tubes are going for $60+ each.

AdamaIt might still be beneficial to put together a group but for non-NOS tubes. I, personally, am interested in a range of experience as well as the best experience based on popular opinion. I greatly appreciate your feedback on the matter, though. Maybe you could suggest some options of tubes that you are interested in from active manufacturers?
