I think the Beyerdynamic T1 is perfectly competitive and then some with the others. I have owned or heard the HD800, LCD-2, LCD-3, AD2000X, TH900, TH600, SR-009, HE-500, HE-6 and many others. They all have their various strengths and weakness, the T1 has fantastic speed, imaging and instrument separation.
