Beware! The AMD RX 480 has a known power issue where it draws alot of power from the PCI-E slot. This is should not be an issue for most people. But if you happen to have an old or cheap motherboard then you might face issues where your PC turns itself off when the card is under heavy load.
The benchmarks are not even out yet, and you're touting it as VR capable? The first Polish "review" leaked one day early (taken down now) seemed to put it a few frames behind GTX 970. VR ready? Come on. It's great for what it is, but it certainly is not pushing 90Hz at 2K at any good level of detail.
m8 this is a midrange card and from the reviews I've seen its on par with a 970, a high end card at its release, which is the recommended spec for VR. If you want to spend £650 on a 1080 be my guest but not everyone can afford the monster cards.
lets go rx480. Im new here about how many votes does it take to get them to consider it for pre-order? I am getting 2 of these one way or another and would love to do it sooner rather than later (aka waiting an extra month for amazon and newegg)
Sorry, somehow I managed to post the RX480 8GB version twice. And it doesn't seem to be possible to delete them.. (If it is gone for you, then some mod must have come in and deleted the duplicate one)
