So this poll has over two hundred votes, and has over three hundred on a single option. Does massdrop ever give any indication of picking the "winner" of a pole and making it a drop?
Well I shared this in another poll but I'll repeat it here:
According to my LGS Owner the BFZ Fat Packs are fully allocated at the distributor level, I.E. retailers won't be able to purchase anymore until WotC produces more later in the year. Some stores in my area are even going as far as making people that want to purchase a Fat Pack buy a Booster Box as well.
As much as I would like a Massdrop deal on BFZ Fat Packs, I don't see that happening pre-launch or even until later.
So if you are interested in chances at Zendikar Expeditions cards (Full art Steam Vents, etc.) You should probably go ahead and vote for the Booster Box alone option. There has been no indication of anybody being limited on how many Booster Boxes they can acquire for sale.
Erm, guys, shouldn't we all be going for the full art lands in the fat pack? I dunno about you, but 89 basics per fat pack is kind of bonkers, especially considering that full art basics were $1 retail before this reprint. (Granted, they'll be much cheaper for a short while, but there will be an eventual price creep back up to the $0.75-$1.00 range.)
So some info for those interested in Full Art Lands:
Yes, they will be back in Battle for Zendikar, and as confirmed by @TrickMTG (Global Content and Community Manager for Magic: The Gathering) the Fat Pack will have 80 Full Art Basic Lands (5 x 16).
MTGGoldfish did the math (http://www.mtggoldfish.com/articles/full-art-lands-confirmed-for-bfz-fat-packs) and determined for the cost of one Booster box (~$100) you can buy 3x Fat Packs and get 80+9 lands per a FP or 240+27 lands total.
So you would be trading 9 packs for 231 lands.
I believe that each booster will contain a full art land. As for lands only dropped in packs we do know that the fat pack will contain a pack of full art lands in it as well + the ones you get from the booster packs.
Also, the full art fetches, shocks, and other assorted goodies will take up a foil slot within the packs. Not sure if this will exclude the possibility of also receiving a full art land. But who cares if you got a full art shock in a pack $$ value has been made.
Hope I helped somewhat
