Can we add the Fenix uc35 please
I have carried the Fenix UC35 every day in my back pocket for 7 years. It is disaster-proof. Its been in the ocean, in the snow, dropped from rooftops, and turned on/off thousands of times and recharged hundreds of times. It never fails, and I can't find a flaw. 1,000 lumens max, and is the perfect size IMO. I also own Streamlight and Surefire, but I think Fenix makes superior products and sells them cheaper. My brother recently got a job with SpaceX working safety on Launchpad 39A and he was talking about how high end the gear is that they get issued. His flashlight? Fenix UC35. Good enough for Tony Stark, good enough for me.

OzChambers939 I am intrigued in a epic way over your story of the Fenix question is,where do I go for the model you have so eloquently described as I shop Amazon prime,County Com and Massdrop
I just got a S2R Baton II from Olight (ordering on their website is a chore) mostly for the rechargeable magnetic base. Cant stand how they have most of their lights with the pocket clip so the lens of the light faces up out of the pocket. Much easier to grab and turn on the other direction. You dont even have the option to switch it if you want. Anything else out there with out this issue?

Yes with certain models. However, their product and cs is superior to any other brand that I've tried (which is most all of them...). They also take take care of their customers. I got like 2-3 FREE lights from them over the holidays. They also have Flash sales throughout the year, and discounts range from 20-50% off. Olight > others.
I would never choose a 1.5v AA or AAA for EDC. The light on our phones can fill that role. I like the 3.7v CR123A which produces 3x the output. A small solarforce z1 is my preference @ 320lm for EDC. But I really like the ones that accept a wide variety of battery, like the sunwayman V11R which has a short duration turbo mode of 750 lumens.
I recently purchased the PD35 TAC for EDC. Although most might consider it a bit too large for EDC, I don't mind the extra weight for the 1000 lumen package!
