My current favorite is the GiantMouse Ace Iona. Nice size, comfortable and M390 for a pretty good price at $99.
Do they ever have Chris Reeve's sebenza 21
Kershaw blur, one of the most popular made-in-USA folder. Can't beat the availability and the affordability. A.G Russell's featherlight is another exceptionally well designed EDC folder. R.I.P. Mr. Russell.
Personally speaking, i am a Microtech man. However, i am a knife enthusiast. Their list is lacking a little bit. No Cold Steel? How are you not going to have the Recon 1?
These knives are so different that they aren’t really competing with each other except the Paramilitary and the 940-1. I think they’re a coin flip. Having said that the S110V in the Paramilitary is a fantastic steel. All of these knives are good buys in my opinion so if you’re on the fence about any of them, go for it. I doubt you’ll be disappointed. If I had to pick just one I would go with the Para.
Dang that Feist looks like a really sweet knife. Small, sleek, but still very tough. I'll have to note that one down.

I picked one up recently and couldn’t be happier. Even with my large hands I was surprised how well it fit. Front flipper takes a little while to get used to but once you get it down it’s a blast to flip and play with. Great steel no blade play, very solid and disappears in pocket.

Nice! So very tempting. And I haven't bought any knives this year, so I've been good for a whole, uhm, month 😛. Get thee behind me!
I don't have a 940 but I do own a Osborne design rift automatic from the same designer and manufacturer. It's a bit too expensive to EDC for me daily but I do bring it out occasionally. It's not on this list but by far my favorite EDC is gotta be by far the Spyderco Yojimbo 2
The Osborne 940S-1 has always been outside of my price range, but I have owned a 940-2 for about a year now, and it has been my favored EDC ever since.....and I have more than one decent pocket folder. The 940-2 resembles the 940-1 at a casual glance, except that it has black G10 scales instead of carbon fiber, and the blade is S30V steel instead of S90V. Even though it has “inferior” steel, the 940-2 blade is as sharp today as the day I bought it, and I’ve only touched it up a couple of times, using a Lansky BladeMedic that I keep in my go-bag. I don’t know anything about Kizer knives, but I do know that you can’t go wrong with a 940 series Benchmade folder. They are the perfect EDC knife - light, smooth action, handsome, and real sharp. I also own a Benchmade Fixed Contego 183, which is also an Osborne designed knife, with the same shape of blade as the 940 folder, but with a 4.97” fixed blade, and an overall length of 10.18”. It is strong and well balanced. While it is marketed as a “tactical fixed blade”, it is a great hunting/survival knife too. I loves me some Benchmade.
