I absolutely love my Proteus Core. I also use a Roccat Kone XTD on my gaming laptop, but it is honestly a poor replacement for the Proteus Core.
In the past 8 years I've burned through the following mice: Razer Naga, Deathadder, Copperhead, Lachesis, and Microsoft Sidewinder. Proteus crushes all of them in terms of comfort in the hand and button placement. (Note: I have big hands. YMMV.)

SatsugaiHow big are you're hands? I'm 6'1", and the g502 has great build quality, nice braided cable, easy software to use, but the shape is a little awkward.. Feels like most Logitech mice are made for extra terrestrial life forms. My hand is 20.5 cm finger to bottom Palm.

Esteban_FrancoisI'm 6'4", 200 lbs. hands are 21 cm. it might be a difference in grip. It's certainly not a wide mouse, but I like that.
