Why would you people vote for founders? even on a card as slow as the 1060 (not saying it’s slow, it’s just no 1080) the temps are outragously high and not good for the GPU’s life span at all. MSI‘s Frozr tech is basically the best you can get. I own an MSI 1070ti Titanium, and OC’d as far as I can push it, temps never go above 70c in an area with hot climate and low wind (Gold Coast, Australia).

applejuiceit kindah doesn't in my opinion tbh... but even if you think fe looks better... it's a pc... you build it to do your work first, looks second. i'd rather have a gpu that doesn't constantly overheat, and doesn't scream in my ear.... unless you're building in a case with really bad airflow or that's very small.. there's is no good reason to choose and fe card besides watercooling it.

GheySmurphtbh the asus strix card is objectively the best card. runs the most silent, has the best cooling, and a way way way better vrm than msi's card... msi is okay.. but their vrm's tend to be a bit less than optimal.

Ty_RymerYeah that is true. Tbh tho, basically any card that isn't an MSI Armor OC or an Nvidia FE will do the job above par. (At the point where cooling as more than acceptable, I'd go for the looks). Also the hotter the GPU goes, the louder the CPU fan will likely be, which is ALWAYS louder than the GPU's (at stock).
