Any update on the Scan and Cut drop?
I'd prefer the Cricut Maker, that one can specifically cut fabric.
I'm new to this whole thing, so I'm not too sure about the system. How does Massdrop get the okay to sell items like Brother and Cricut machines that can only be sold by licensed retailers?

Hi @lia-rene95, Massdrop reaches out to vendors to see if they want to work with the Massdrop community. If they say yes, we are set up just like any other retailer.
The MSRP on the ScanNCut is not $299. That model is more like $599. The lower-end model is usually $349
What about the KNK Maxx Air? Cuts fabric with/without interfacing easily, as well as thicker things like heavy card, balsa, vinyl, etc and engrave metals.

That's the one. There is also the KNK Orbit, which is a little cheaper as it doesn't have bluetooth. Either would be great machines. There are 2 sizes, 24" and 15". I like the 15" as it fits my desk space.

Good to know on the sizes. I have reached out to the vendor to see if they are interested in working with the community.
