For my level of soldering the FX888D I have is probably more than sufficient, but I'm intrigued by the FX951.
Just added the YH-8786D 2in1 rework station to the poll. I personally have owned a Weller WEDS51 for many years without issue but I have to say, even the nicest soldering irons are still a trial and a tribulation for fine-pitch surface mount components compared to a basic hot air reflow gun. This rework station has a pretty positive review from EE youtuber BigClive who makes heavy use of it for his technician work, So if you are thinking about dipping your toes into SMDs while still having a soldering iron nearby, this combo workstation might be a good choice for a starter unit.
