I really would like to see more sets with blanks (or novelties) for 1.5u caps. I am always stuck with opinionated layouts where it assumes I have certain symbols mapped to my 1.5u. Maybe that's great for those who haven't deviated from the standard layout, but as programmable keyboards go, there is a high probability of deviation.

I get it, but if you're into blanks, it really doesn't matter what is printed unless you prefer the aesthetic. I prefer the look of caps with legends, even if they don't match what I'm actually use them for. At least I have a visual cue that differentiates the caps.

Yeah, you bring up a good point about legends providing visual differentiation. In that regard, I could see that legends would serve better than mere blanks.
I think novelty legends would be the best, then. It would offer differentiation, aesthetics, and still not cause "microconfusion" or additional cognitive load ("This key labeled '{' is not actually '{', but is really '_' " or whatever) caused by being labeled with the wrong legend. Maybe that additional cognitive load is only something that I'm intolerant of.
I actually am looking for a blank set.
