Carbon6 Lume Glow Rings

...get ready, Black Friday is coming early this year...
Withe the known flaw of the glow part, should we decide on the plain carbon one?
My apologies, I forgot to add... Unless they are doing some kind of MD special, the 'charging' solution that is included with the ring seems like not only an afterthought, but like they included the cheapest eBay solution they could find. You would think that for the price they would have included a small 'dock' that would 'charge' the ring without the need for you to sit there, pointing a cheap plastic UV light at it for several minutes... On the bright side, it seems they've stopped the "30% off - TODAY ONLY", junk marketing, despite it being there for at least a few weeks... Sorry folks, I am just disappointed by the general lack of any sort of QC process MD has had... A year ago they only had really great, seemingly vetted products in their drops, but now, it feels as though any old thing can nab a drop...
I voted on this and was super excited when looking at the photographs... Unfortunately, after checking out some reviews, it seems that everything from the packaging to the actual item is pretty, well, not satisfactory given the cost of these things... Additionally, after doing some more looking, you can make a ring however you want for about $20... So the $150+ price tag for these rings is surely not worth it, unless you have $140 to waste... :-(

Where are "make your own ring for $20" places you speak of?

Apologies for the delay, but I found several guides on YouTube, just search for 'diy (material) ring', and you will find some.
i want one! now
Do I have take these off in the shower?

Shouldn't have to, no. It's a glow compound like a resin, and carbon fiber, so should be 100% waterproof to the best of my knowledge.

I added it and you can do it by selecting "Add an option" on the vote page.
I bought a carbon 6 ring about 6 months ago and within the first month the center glowing portion fell out. Also the ring would only glow if you intentionally put it under light just walking around would not charge it

That's defiantly not supposed to happen. The rings are unconditionally guaranteed. Please just message us and we'll get you a new one. Thanks for letting me know. -John
How many years will the glow in the dark elements last ?

It isn't tritium, which would be ridiculously hard to make into a ring like that. This is a glow compound, which uses UV light to charge. Tritium gets its glow from radiation.

hmmm so the portion glowing needs to have access to uv light to re charge the glow to keep glowing.
