I have prescription reading glasses. My optometrist recommended the same blue light/uv protection for my glasses because I am on the computer all day. Believe it or not, I do notice a difference. They work best in medium to dark rooms. There is too much glare if used in a well-lit room. My son is a gamer who doesn't need prescription lenses so I will be buying a pair of the MLG glasses for him.
