People want the founders because of how they've been performing in overclocking. Seems as if Nvidia may have saved a lot of the GPU's with the highest results in the "Silicon lottery" making their overclocking capabilities a lot higher; of course that's assuming you believe the rumor. Still rather not take the chance and go for an aftermarket card though. Vote it up on the EVGA Classified and the Asus ROG Strix 1080s
