Seeing how old the discussion on this it is, it would appear unlikely that this will ever come to fruition.
I thought there were other options. While the VP is an incredibly good pen and a bargain priced gold-nib pen, I am just not a fan of the retractable nib pens. It is just a personal preference, and I would wholly support a good deal for those of you who are interested. I know this pen and its manufacturer to be among the best!
It doesn't seem like many people want the VP Decimo. Is this just because its newer and therefore lesser known, or do people just prefer the width of the regular VP?

I'm not altogether certain that there are as many people experienced with the Decimo as with the VP. I like the Decimo a lot, but prefer the VP in terms of how it writes in my hand. (My other all-time fave is Pilot's Custom 823, but that's a whole 'nother conversation.)
Yeah, is this one ever offered through Massdrop? I can't find one by doing a quick search
I have the extra fine it writes beautifully. It is my everyday pen and I couldn't be happier.
Will this be a thing? I would love a fine one:)
