Helonix chair zero ALLL DAYYY. 1.1LBS. Can't beat it. Very comfortable, easy to pack and lightweight. It is considered a luxery item but at this weight its well worth carrying. IMO
I have the chair zero, it packs small and is ultralight. When backpacking you think about the size and weight. This was the best 1 lb addition I’ve made. Always sitting on the ground or a log was never that fun and from a 6’ guy weighing 225 with broad shoulders I’m quite shocked how durable and comfortable this chair is. I really figured my broad shoulders would be a problem and I would give up comfort, nope! A couple tips. The chair will sink into soft soil and beach sand but a remedy that costs next to nothing and has dual use is a trash compactor bag. Throw that down and put the chair on it and no more sinking. Or you can buy the little mesh square for keeping it from sinking. I honestly didn’t mind it sinking at the beach. At camp I liked keeping the feet mostly on top of the soil for cooking and sitting. Folks this is THE chair to get. It checks all the boxes for me. Having a backrest and a seat above ground is so worth carrying the extra weight. It is good for outdoor concerts as well As it doesnt sit too high up.
I'd strongly suggest folks look at the Helinox Ground Chair https://www.bigagnes.com/Ground-Chair and the REI Flexlight Low Chair. https://www.rei.com/product/127343/rei-co-op-flexlite-low-chair For me, the ground chair is so much more comfortable than any of these others. Ground Chair is perfect for both cooking and laid back resting. Flexlight Low is a bit high (for me) to cook.
What about Helinox Chair Zero ? 510 g / 1.1 lbs (with case) Excellent chair. http://www.helinoxstore.com/products/chair-zero

Yep, I second the chair zero. I picked one up on sale last year. I should have grabbed a second. After almost a year of use on many trips I recommend the chair. I would get another if at a good price on a drop. .

The Chair Zero is the best backpacking chair in the list. The chair one mini is for kids... The chair zero weighs DOUBLE... and the sunset is for base campers (nothing against them it's just heavy... I have the swivel, the one, and the zero already... I don't take any but the zero backpacking anymore... the others are great to put many chairs in one backpack for a grill out or soccer game or base camping... very portable compared to standard camp chairs... just no cup holders it's an add on accessory that tends to make the light chairs capsize when ya get up.)
