If you are already in the middle of a project and you have proven success results with the 2 then it is more comfortable to buy the older model.

There are lots of underrated boards, that are much better in specs than a Raspberry Pi. Latte Panda, and UP board are both windows 10 compatible and are very good. The Pine A64+ has better specs and is cheaper.
