w00mno they are bad they don't use standard real switches from quality manufactures they use a "custom" made low quality kailh switch that is complete garbage.
AntonyFaragAre Kailh switches garbage? Or just different? I found the actuation force curve on the brown Kailh's preferable over the MX ones... but then again preferred the MX Blues. I have a problem with the Razer because of the non-MX compatibility.
AntonyFaragI had a DAS with Cherry MX Blue and I found it too noisy, but the keys also did not have enough resistance (tactile bump) to them. Then I got another (Monoprice Gaming) Cherry MX keyboard (Red this time) and it already now has some keys that don't work. And though I like the Red for some forms of gaming, I hate them for typing. So far I am pleased with the feel of the Kailh browns in my Nixeus... but only time will tell if they will last, right?
I would like to give a MX Brown a try in the future... to compare. Not sure about a TKL brand that I should go for for this... any recommendation on the brand that will give me zero buyer's remorse? :)
lailokenget the Team wolf swapable keyboard. that way you can use any key switches and change them out when you get tired of them. also telling you you should try out gateron switches.
w00mIf I want flashy, there are other keyboards that have the same features for less, with better quality (Ducky shine X, that one chinese otemu full size board, etc)
lailokenLook into buying a custom keyboard with ergo clears from someone on reddit.com/r/mechmarket. They have a little more resistance than MX Browns, but the tactile bump is amazing.
TJ_GeeThanks for the info. Yes, I know about the clears (not to be confused with some clears that are called whites, but are more whites etc... confusing. But I know the ones you mean... and I have not been able to find them!

There seems to be some confusion about those designations since the different switch manufacturers have switches which perform differently but called the same.
