Go to any world class recording studio and look in their mic locker and you'll find Royer, followed by an AEA and now the Apollo is becoming a favorite, you'll start seeing those too. What you won't find is the Rode. The Rode is more of a prosumer or home studio mic, it's not bad, but it's nowhere close to the Royer or Apollo.
Royer is like the neumann of ribbon mics
