I am pretty fascinating by the options the Cuckoo seems to offer, in particular the newest one, which is clearly geared to the english market (the full stainless 3.0 model seems to be only for the Korean and Chinese market). the Full Stainless 4.0 model offers an amazing feature set. Previously, I have always used the Zojirushi IH rice cooker and they have performed very well for me. I would want a Pressure Cooker model next time, and when I started looking, I discovered these new Cuckoo models.

RogierFvV The Korean IH Pressure rice cookers have better tech and design to the Japanese rice cookers. From all the research I have done, the IH pressure rice cookers are the best for taste and evenly cooked rice. I also have been looking at this same model with great interest. Koreans now days are known for their high tech and this rice cooker is their latest offering.

JackViceYes, I would agree. I have had the Zojirushi 3-cup IH model for 10+ years, and the taste is superior. I do a monthly dinner at a Bangladeshi restaurant by me, and I always bring my own GABA Basmati, and the owner is blown away by the taste. The Cuckoo model seems preferable to me, a) because the bowl is stainless, b) the pressure cooker feature, and c) the fact that it has more programming options for quinoa etc. and I use the rice cooker sometimes 3x per day (steelcut oats for breakfast, quinoa or other grains for lunch, and brown rice or another whole grain for dinner)
