I personally love the snuff. Not too dark. Not too light.
Stone is popular because people are looking at the swatch, and ignoring the warning that the final product will be lighter in color. I added a pic of smoked Kudu, if that's not available I'm sure RR can find a very similar color.

Light browns always seem to be popular. I definitely want the bitter chocolate myself

Thanks @Rev_rend! That's exactly what I was about to do - you beat me to it!
One of the exciting things about this project is that the shoes have never been made in these colors (except snuff), so there are no examples I can show you even if I wanted to. I'll try and upload more images tomorrow, but I think it helps to look at the undertones of each color. The snuff is a reddish brown, the flint is a grey-brown, the chocolate is a very deep brown. The other two are much lighter, of course.
Can you please show the colors on a finished shoe?? These swatches all look black or dark brown on my Retina display.

Agree. The swatches are pretty useless - especially if you compare the snuff swatch to the finished boot you pictures. They're not even in the same ballpark.
Ron's back!
I've been seeing a lot of great footwear made up in waxed Kudu lately, and so I'm really excited to offer Ron's Eben boot in this material from CF Stead. Kudu is a species of antelope native to the African savanna, and features natural grain markings that give it a marbled look. It’s finished with wax to improve its durability and four-season utility.
Note that all of the colors will lighten when stretched over the shoe last, so all colors are here darker than they will appear on the final product. Here's the Eben in Snuff Kudu:
