Why buy a video card and wait months to get it. Dumbest shit ever is buying something that depreciated in value the entire time you waited for it.
The person who made this made an error. It was the Xtreme version that was dropped and that had the good price...come on people...
We should drop the 1080 Ti Poseidon. It comes with a waterblock as well as a standard heatsink and fans. So, you can use it with or without a custom loop. It's basically future proofing your build. And with water, you can use the custom loop as well as the heatsink and fan at the same time to drop the temperature to the lowest 1080Ti temperature on the market. Reviews show only 43C at 100% load at high 2xC ambient.
Vote for the Xtreme version. That what was already dropped...
they had been doing msi cards I rather a top tier 1080ti
like msi GTX 1080 Ti GAMING X 11G
Which one is the most cost effective one? I'm looking to get the best bang for my bucks. Replies welcome.

Checkout Zotac GTX 1080 Amp! Extreme Edition specs and price. It's $ 569 89 at amazon with prime and Auros is at $ 739 99. Zotac performance and clock rates are much higher. We all want to get the best with lowest price... So we should vote for Zotec.

It doesn't have the Ti, thus the lower price
Honestly it seems like a product like a graphics card won't get much of a drop the size that these usually are... i'd be surprised if it could get lower than $10-15 cheaper than amazon w/ prime but if it could, i would drop it on a 1070 before the 1080.
Ideally i'd love to see big drops for the 1060, 1070, and 1080ti and titan x that were large enough for a significant discount.
Come to think of it wouldn't the AMD equivalent be cheaper? The R-something? Whatever the brand or label or sub creator, or LEDS... is like... whatever, for teenagers. Show me the money.
Can you guys tell me which 1080 TI is going to be cheapest and then we can all vote on it? Once that's known LEDs and such will be ignored.
Why you vote on AORUS? Because it has LEDs and the Poseidon has a Hybrid cooler and 10 Power Phases? Strix has made few world records and KINGPIN is also hardcore.. but... all want LEDs.. such waste of votes.
Personally I'd prefer the Asus ROG Strix 1080 Ti. I'd also be open to the ROG 1080 Ti Poseidon, but that's a bit more expensive likely.
The AORUS card is not bad by any means, but it is longer, heavier and takes up around 2.5/3 slots; many enthusiasts think those who buy it should be using an additional GPU support bracket for their cases, as not to put too much stress on the PCI-E slot.
Overall I generally prefer Asus ROG cards especially with the now open RGB "Aura SDK' so nobody needs to have a ton of competing RGB standards and applications to control them. EVGA is another decent choice when it comes to Nvidia cards.
Any veterans here have an idea what the price range might settle at as an estimate?

Yea man, give me a little credit. We have been kicking ass on graphics card pricing. We sold the Aorus 1080ti extreme, Aorus 1080ti, and the Gigabyte 1080ti OC Black Edition all in the last 10 days and WELL under the lowest price on the net including Amazon Prime. Sorry you missed them.

Thanks @B.Hutch !! The GPU Drops the past week was kick-ass! They sold like hot cakes in a matter or minutes, if not a couple of hours. I was in on the original Aorus 1080 Ti drop with Destiny 2 code. That was a pleasant surprise when you pulled it off. :)
There's an extreme edition but it only has 2 votes..
Can we make it the xtreme version with or without the PSU, preferably without?
