Surprised by the current results. Are people just voting for what's at the top of the list? I'm not an expert by any means, but a few minutes of research on several of the options made me feel like the 38" LG that's currently in the lead is not what most people would actually be interested in purchasing, even with a drop (based on reviews, MSRP, some wonky features, etc).
The x34 is a winner for g-sync. There should be a winner from the free-sync and G-Sync groups selected.
Make it available to be shipped to canada, the drop will get more buyers.
The decision between the LG and the Acer is exactly what I'm pondering right now, great to see a potential drop here. For those of us with NVIDIA cards - do you choose real estate (LG) or G-Sync (Acer and Asus)?

I've been looking into these for a long time... Been holding out for the X34P for ages and I just bought a new machine with a 1080 in there, so G-sync and a high refresh rate was the go for me. Comparing the res you roughly get the same PPI between the 2 monitors because of the size discrepancy, which is great for the LG @ 38 inches. Though I have read a few reviews on ultrawides at that size, it sounds like 34" is the sweet spot, especially if you plan to do any work on it as well as game. 38" gives just that little bit to much real estate that you find yourself doing the IMAX - actually moving your head left and right to see tools or UI in the corners/whatever else might be tucked away out there. Hardly an expert opinion but thats my 2c!
