First off a recommendation, I have a Borah Gear down jacket and it rocks. With a half oz of overstuff in size L, it comes in under 6oz. Warm and toasty even for shoulder season backpacking in the Cascades and Sierra's. Great customer service too - I ordered a size M at first which ended up being a little small, and they exchanged for a better fitting jacket with timely shipping and great communication. I have a Borah Gear tarp as well which is spectacularly lightweight and durable.
Secondly, Luke's Ultralite is not a trustworthy cottage manufacturer. I ordered a rain shell from them and in the end, had to retrieve my money from PayPal, who I believe refuses to manage their account at this point given so many claims against them. No communication from LUL about their production setbacks, no refund from them, and in the end it was pretty clear they were either running a scam or too disorganized to run a business effectively. Buyer beware!
