I like to order these free motion rulers, joined the drop but there was no further info on how to proceed.

In the note section on the drop page, there is the following short paragraph. Hope that helps!
After the drop ends, you'll receive an email with a Google form requesting the make and model of your machine so that the correct size ruler foot and templates can be sent. If you do not respond within 48 hours, we will cancel your transaction and provide a refund.

It doesn't show that you joined the drop. You can always tell this by going into your profile in the top right corner of the page and clicking on transactions. You can also tell if you are posting in the discussions for a drop, you would have a blue star next to your name.
Payment happens at the end of the drop. I'm including this link to our help center which will be able to answer your questions on payment, drops, etc. Hope all this helps answer any questions! - Sandy
