If anyone is interested, the MeElectronics Matrix2 is probably the best bang/buck wireless headphones. But I agree, I'll vote for trash as well, just use some earbuds (Piston 3s come to mind).
Okay, okay, okay. I HATE cables. Again, I hate hate hate cables. I have a wireless gaming mouse and headset (logitech G700 and G930), but unfortunately a wired G19 keyboard. The G930 wireless headset is 7.1 audio, but you all are saying I'll hear better if I get a wired headset? I don't want to give up my wireless life unless the quality is worth it.
It's not 7.1 though (it's simulated, which you can get with ANY headphones), that's marketing. On top of that, not headphones. Gaming headsets are generally bad quality with the exception of HyperX Cloud series (they are Takstar Pro80 headphone clones, they retain quality sound) Beyerdynamic MMX300, and Sennheiser G4ME series.
Degradation of signal happens over wireless, even if it is a slight amount, so that's why wireless computer components are not generally wanted by the competitive gaming crowd and the audio crowd. But, if you are buying Logitech, Razer, Plantronics, Turtle Beach, or any crap quality audio like that, you don't really care about sound quality to begin with.
Only worthwhile is the V-Moda Crossfade Wireless, it retains the M-100 sound and offers both wireless and wired modes. I wouldn't mind trading my M-100 for a pair of CF Wireless for convenience, but I wouldn't be buying what is practically the same headphone that I already have.
The best part is that this is tagged "Audiophile". I better be able to make some sick beats with whichever trash receptacle they choose. The people have spoken! MAKE IT SO!
I don't know about "Trash" but I would definitely jump on a drop for some high quality, sleek & well designed rubbish receptacles.
Given they don't come pre-filled.
