Outdoor Research 2019 Helium Bivy

Great discussion in this poll. The OR Alpine Bivy is a perennial favorite, but there are certainly numerous lighter options out there. I still might be able to get a drop for the OR Alpine Bivy, as for many people it could be much lighter than their current bivy. And, I will work to get the lighter bivy sacks here, like the OR Helium and the stuff from Borah Gear and ZPacks. Thanks for voting! And @Mimosa - thank you for starting another poll with only truly ultralight bivy sacks.
I started a new poll for ultralight bivies. Just search 'ultralight bivies' and it should come up.
My comments were addressing the voters - presuming an ultra lite interest (it being an ultralight section of Massdrop), I just don't understand their voting results (so far). They don't make sense (to me).

It looks to me that the Borah Cuben is not voted on because of the picture. You see it rolled up. I personally find it hard to vote because you have no information available in the voting process. (you have to manually research and compare them)

I thought Massdrop was for enthusiasts (ie. people who are interested enough to look into products they're unfamiliar with in case it is awesome), not people who look at pictures and click on the prettiest one. It would be horrible to have to take literally 30s to research something before you start clicking away on a poll wouldn't it?
Come on. The OR alpine is 895gm. The Borah Cuben is 119gm. That saves 776gm. For that matter, my Locus Gear Khufu mid AND 2/3 custom bug inner with Cuben floor together weigh less than the OR Alpine, and I get much more space and a vestibule...

@rmeurant - can you create a new poll with just the bivy sacks that are truly ultralight? Borah Gear, Zpacks, Locus Gear . . . That would be really useful and I can include it in an upcoming email blast later this week. Thanks!
