Have used the 212 and the NH-D15 in the past. Probably the best air coolers for the price. Always in the market for a new one though
who the fuck voted for the intel stock cooler xD
I own an NH-D14 and want an NH-D15, you can't beat the cooling to noise ratio, http://www.frostytech.com/articleview.cfm?articleid=2766&page=4
Vote for Cooler Master: Hyper 212 EVO
What are you looking to cool? Are you going to overclock? How important are temps to you? How important is noise to you? Are you willing to spend 3x as much for marginally better performance? (it's really between the Hyper 212 Evo and the H100i, imho) Also check these website out for benchmarks/charts: http://www.frostytech.com/articleview.cfm?articleid=2781&page=5, http://www.frostytech.com/top5heatsinks.cfm, and http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/cooling-watercooling,44.html.
I was mounting a CM Hyper 212 EVO, on a very high profile motherboard for my dad, and it was a mess to get the wiggly X-shaped collapsible, universal frame that had to sit on all 4 stand offs, and the pin in the center of the CPU block

I've mounted 4-5 Evos and once I had the X shaped connector in the proper shape I've never had trouble aligning it with the standoffs. (I did have a lot of trouble when I didn't set the X connector to the proper shape for my motherboard though!)
It's my go-to because it provides excellent cooling for a good price point, and I have found it simple to attach.

I would put my vote in for one of Alpenfohn's offerings. Like @UndullingBlade mentioned, the X bracket design of the Hyper 212 is a bit awkward. Without US retailers, it's hard for me to get my hands on an Alpenfohn cooler without high shipping/import costs.
I don't know about you guys, but from my experience with the CoolerMaster Hyper 212, is that the mounting system sucks, like I don't understand how its everyone's "go to" air cooler.

Was your experience with the EVO or the Plus? Because CoolerMaster redesigned the mount and heatpipe design on the bottom from the Pluss for the EVO.

probably the price, or even a dropped price on it. It could also be the size. If anyone had the choice they would want Noctua coolers.
