Y'all, don't be silly. PSB Alpha/Image or Paradigm Atoms. Awesome speakers.
I'm honestly shocked the JBL ES30BK's aren't higher on this poll...better then almost every single item. Same goes for the Polk TSi200's. Acoustic Engineering is my career, so I am baffled as to why there are so many 4" drivers in the top picks.

Better than Maggies? Doubt it

Don't worry, they're coming : )
P4 sample to arrive in the next couple days, working on more options, will update once more information is available.
HSU is a nice inclusion here. Bargain at any price.
Aren't the Pioneer SP-BS22-LR cheap enough at 130 and readily available? Wharfedale Diamond 10.1 FTW, but they will get cheaper once the 121 and 122 are available in the states.
Hi Everyone,
Pioneer SP-BS22-LR: We're speaking with a few of our Vendors and shipping is the biggest challenge with this product. They're low cost and quite heavy. That said, we're working on finding a workable price so hopefully we'll have a conclusion soon.
Polk Audio TSi200: Same problems as above. Even at a slightly higher price point, these have a shipping weight of 37lbs.
Audioengine P4: We can launch these within a week. Audioengine loves working with Massdrop. We can make this happen almost immediately if you're interested.
Let us know what you think about the P4s and we'll keep working to source your other choices in the mean time.

Hey I would be interested in those P4s if it would be a significant discount from the regular price.
The Pioneers are already cheap enough and often go on sale. The Wharfedales have great praise and could really benefit from a mass drop sale!
the wharfedales should be far higher- they are an excellent speaker all around and far better than the tsi200
The AudioEngines are junk. The Micca MB42X and Pioneer SP-BS22 are considerably better speakers at a lower price point.
When does the voting end?
The M-Audio AV-40s are active speakers.
Oops, just added the Cambridge Aero 2 speakers but then noticed the $100-$300 restriction at the top. Not sure how you go about deleting this entry.
