I've had the jarv nmotion, they were possibly the worst ones ive ever had. they kept dropping the bluetooth to my phone and had to be turned off and back on 3 to 4 times an hour to reconnect them. other bluetooth headphones i have never had an issue with
I've used both the Plantronics Backbeats Go 2 and the Jaybirds. They both sound great, stay in my ears during normal exercise, and have good battery life. The case for the Backbeats even has a little built in battery pack and charger that will give you about 2 extra full charges making them great for traveling.
My question... Why does everyone rave about the Jaybirds when they are substantially more expensive. Is it just name recognition or am I missing something?
Anybody else feel like the jaybirds got put on the back shelf? How long do we have to wait?
Hopefully Massdrop makes it happen now, and hopefully for around $99 because you know there going to charge $10 in shipping so for $109 to the US, I call that a deal you can pick them up else ware for about $130. So I figure if you can save $20 on Massdrop your doing ok, but every now and then you get the sweet 50% off stuff and that just makes you excited.
So...what's the protocol now? There are 225 votes in total..
I've had both the Pantronics and the Jarvs, and they both have great sound and no problem with the cords getting caught on anything. They both have some sort of apparatus to keep the bud in your ear, and they all do their job well - I've never had problems losing my buds on a run or in the gym. The Plantronics are a little lower-profile, both in the earbuds and the inline remote/mic - a bit more aesthetically pleasing but functionally both are great buds, and significantly less expensive than the Jaybirds.
I've had BlueBud X's for close to a year and they are great. I run with them, as well as use them in the gym. The cord is short enough that I don't catch it on anything. I only have to be careful when squatting that I don't put the bar on top of it. They sound great, too.
