I don't think I would class the Audioengine A2 as an "audiophile active monitor" speaker. Also, it will need a subwoofer paired with it to get enough bass.
Assuming that the A2 wins, I would still like Massdrop to see if they could get a good deal on the A2+ instead. Supposedly it will be released in 3-4 months, and it would be great if we could get it here around when it launches.
