GrassMudHorseJust a selection of CPU's that specifically are considered to be good for gaming, not so much that they are exclusive designed for it. Usually you'll see priority of higher clock speeds and being unlocked for over clocking and less emphasis on # of cores.
GrassMudHorseMostly its a marketing thing, but generally for gaming you want high frequency (Ghz), you want good physics processing, and if you're into getting the most out of your CPU you'll want it unlocked for overclocking. There are some differences in CPU types but mainly its either desktop CPUs (i.e. personal home use) or server CPUs
Eh? Doesn't that contradict "good for gaming"?
