SteelSeries H Wireless would've been fantastic. The drivers are identical to those in the HD560.
Hey everyone! The A40 Audio System is live on the site right now, I hope you guys enjoy your headsets!

Having owned and auditioned a lot of headsets in my time as well as using real headphones for gaming, I feel safe saying that headphones + separate mic will always beat out a gaming headset in value. You're paying for the idea that a gaming headset is superior instead of actually paying for a superior headset. Essentially, a gaming headset is for lazy people who can't be bothered to purchase the correct cables for their needs. I use my Fostex TH900 run by a Fiio X5 for my audio output. I use my Audio Technica AT4033se microphone powered by my E-MU 0404 usb as my audio input device. Getting a quality pair of headphones with good soundstage like the AKG Q701 (which are actually being dropped here for $150 at the time of my posting here) and an add-on mic like the Antlion Modmic would be far superior. I would only recommend a gaming headset for people spending less than $50 and even then a Superlux HD668b + $5 gooseneck mic is still viable.
Hey guys, I have a few of the sets in this poll. I just wanted to give a quick insight into the Astro A 40's and the Sennheisers. The Astro A40's had a delay when using the optical port on an X FI Titaium HD from Creative, however the Sennheiser Game Zeros offered the same, if not superior sound from the analog port of the same card. Point being, You may want to opt for the Sennheisers for actual performance. The A50 Wireless headset had poor quality control in the two sets (mixer plus headphones) with rattling bass in the left ear cup. Just thought I'd share that, be sure to check out Head-Fi for some more in depth analysis on the two sets and make an educated vote on these.
