Just saw Filco with Browns is winning... GROSS!
I know you guys have better taste than that ;)
Browns are pretty useless for gaming or typing at any sort of speed. The tactile feedback is pretty much non existent. Don't be fooled by the "best of both worlds" argument that the compromise of MX red/ MX blue is brown. It sacrifices the pros of both and is a mediocre switch because of it.

JwaZThat's just ridiculous. It totally depends on the user.
I've had a brown and a red mechanical. It's obvious that the red's don't have tactile feedback, as they're supposed to. And when I switch over to the browns it's obvious there is feedback.
I personally prefer the browns as I use the feedback to help me type.
