please dont do the 970 with whats happening right now about the vram.

pancakeseaweedYeah true, but its only a *problem if you use more than 3.5gb of vram, to do that wouldn't you need to be running 4k's or tripple 1080p's?

CtanWhile true, we can't expect every consumer to be aware of it's unintended limits and may end up buying it under false pretenses. Until a solution is found (firmware update, recall, etc.) it would make more sense to protect the rest of the community by avoiding that specific model for the time being, don't you think?
