Yes, hopefully there is a smaller hardware manufacturer that can provide wholesale discounts but everyone on massdrop seems to just vote the most famous maunfacturers which is directly the opposite of what is needed for massdrop.

exit1Isn't it massdrop's employe's job to source the cards? I don't think most people care which GTX 780ti they get at a grate price, but more so, that they DO get a GTX 780ti at a GRATE price...
Also, why can't massdrop whole-buy from a distributor? They have a wholesale/retail license and tax account... So unless all the distributors just don't want to, what's the problem?

slaitheBecause the profit margins on computer components are already so low, retailers/distributors and manufacturers alike would have to take a loss to offer discounts, even in bulk.

penguinzLike @penguinz is saying the margin on most computer components is just too low for us to beat somewhere like Newegg. I would love to get a drop on some of these to upgrade my PC, but at this point it's not possible.
If anything ever changes we'll definitely let you all know, but for now I'm closing this poll down.
