Despite the Shutter being a great yoyo, I think the YYJ Classic with a YYJ Unresponsive kit would be the best beginner tool. Starting at unresponsive is hard, I feel like learning responsive first and switching to unresponsive when you're ready is the best idea. DM2 and DV888 are both pretty dated YoYo designs as well, but I supposed the DV888 starter kit wouldnt be too bad.
