The other tubes aren't necessarily "better". They are just different. Each set of tubes is better for certain headphones. I perfer the stock tubes for example with my HD800s.

Definitely want the better tubes. I don't want to pay for the lower end tubes and the better ones when I plan on getting the better ones anyway.
