BlakerThere is a 0% chance we can run this product at this price.
I think last time we looked at SSD's, we needed to place an order of $10m+ in order to see prices comparable to Amazon.
We appreciate all of the enthusiasm from the computing enthusiast community, but these are mainstream electronics, and we just can't buy them in large enough quantities to get any reasonable price breaks.
If you guys select some more niche products (special water cooling, fancy cases/cables, etc.) we can look into those types of products. The 10-port USB hub that we're running right now would be a good example, or the case fans we ran a couple months ago.
CPU's, RAM, Video Cards, Hard Drives = no dice :(
MarkHi mark I don't want to sound ignorant so I'm sure there is a reason companies can't to this, but why couldn't you contact a reseller, like amazon warehouse. I know that they sell these cards for 600$ becuase they have damaged packaging and if you contact them saying I have 1300 people who want cards you could probably a pretty good amount of money off becuase they need to get rid of there perfectly working unwanted inventory. I was wondering I you could explain why companies can't do this.
Thanks
