If you have a fairly powerful computer and you use a WD Green, you are adding a weak point to your system. The hard drive is not a component you can just cheap out on and still expect snappy performance - your load, write and read times will keep you waiting and often leave you frustrated. Either prioritise quality over quantity (WD Caviar Black 1TB instead of WD Caviar Green 2TB) or just take the jump in price.
