No offense to Mr. Roth, but god damn these speakers are terrible value for your money. A t-amp for the speakers on a $1000 system simply isn't a practical way to spend your money. If you have the kind of money to not care about quality for price, you probably aren't the kind of person that frequents Massdrop. A quick glance at reviews online yields very few ones published by actual audio magazines, and I'd be dubious to buy a system that was given a great review by Men's Journal. For the same money you could get the Koss ESP950 or a pair of JBL LSR308's and a subwoofer to match. This buy has been up for awhile in the audiophile section but it isn't really in line with the rest of the Massdrop community, which is historically quite enthusiastic about legitimate enthusiast equipment.
