TOBS is the shit.
Hey guys,
We have contacted Cella, however we're trying to find a way to list it on Massdrop while offering the community considerable savings. We will keep working on this. Stay tuned for our update.
Cheers!

Nothing new to report. I've made contact with a few of these companies and I'll let you know when something looks promising.
Hi all,
We will reach out to the winning options in this poll and update you with our progress.
Thanks for voting!
I was actually surprised that Martin de Candre ranked so low even with it's high price tag. IMO it is actually one of the best veggie soaps ever, and beats many mid-level "fats". Been in my rotation for a couple years now, and I luv it. That being said, Cella has always been a go to top performer.
Currently working my way through a tub of Taylor of Old Bond St sandalwood cream and I sometimes shave just for the scent. The lather could be better but the shave is clean and the aroma is amazing. Would like to try something new so very happy this poll came up.
I personally love the Geo. F. Trumper soaps, but I don't think they're tallow based. Violet is a great scent though and they work very well.
I'm partial to the Crabtree and Evelyn shaving soaps, very nice sandalwood scent and it's very easy to have either thick or thin lathers depending on your preference. They also last forever, I've got three sitting in my cupboard and based on the rate I use them that's enough for three to four years which takes the bite out the price.
Vitos, cella and 3p are all equally good IMO. Although if we base it on just those three we might as well change the poll to "Italian almond scented tallow based soap". I've suggested the strop shoppe special edition soaps which are also tallow based and great performers but come in a wide variety of scents.
Never tried 3P but Cella and Vitos are top notch products.
I have to sit this out :( , because I'm working through what seems like a lifetime supply of Arko that I got on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Arko-Shaving-Stick-White-Count/dp/B000VAWZ2U/
It's excellent stuff - tallow-based, dense lather, and very cheap. People complain about the lemon scent, but you can't expect sandalwood for the price; it's only the monotony of it that bothers me.

You can scent your Arko by unwrapping it and sprinkling it with a few drops of scented essential oil. Lime, peppermint, etc. will add some nice fragrance to your soap. This works even better if you slice the Arko up and mash it into the bottom of a short jar or mug.
Does no one discuss here? I'll start: Ok, I voted for 3P because while I love Cella's performance, for the fragrance is meh. I read good things about 3P's fragrance and performance, less so about Vito's. So, while I've never tried 3P I think it's time. And, given a great price on it, I'll have enough to share with friends I'm trying to inspire to check out traditional wet shaving. I suspect 3P will be just fine for that.
