FWIW, I have an Akribos XXIV, a Skagen, and a Stuhrling Original (not these specific watches, but one of each make). The Skagen is by far the highest-quality in feel and function, and its slim profile looks amazing. My Stuhrling has spent more time in the shop than on my wrist, and the shop owner finally asked me not to bring it back.
Are any of these automatic movements? It would be good to know as it would sway me on which one to vote for. Automatic is the way to go. No batteries to change!
