A kit would be nice, but I suggest that we should take a kit more useful than the Adafruit Kit.

HaPPyWaLLaCeWhat do you suggest? We can put it to a vote and make it happen.

HaPPyWaLLaCe@HaPPyWaLLaCe If I recall correctly, wifi usb adapters are iffy with the RSP because (1) you have to make sure there are linux drivers for that model and (2) you then have to account for the extra resources that you need to drive the adapter. I'm not saying you can't or shouldn't, just passing along what i've read.
@andy I understand what you mean. As for the different options, do you want me to nitpick or generalize my opinions on them?... or do you want me to just shut up :P

KiR3go on... :)
I apologize if I came off harsh, it was not my intention. Just trying get users to decide on the most popular configuration. Other than the RSP, I think everyone here wants:
- case - USB hub - power adapter - SD Memory Card - wifi dongle (optional) - HDMI cable (maybe from Monoprice) - Ethernet cable
Anything else?

andyNope, you didn't come off harsh. I understand that in order for you (Massdrop) to be able to get the discount you need to meet an MOQ with a vendor that is willing to do a one-time (?) deal. Therefore having too many options would spread the demand out too thin.

KiR3I just saw an official USB wireless adaptor in the raspberry pi online store, the Edimax EW-7811Un, so I think it maybe useful.

andyAndy, those things you mentioned in the list are the basic things that everyone needs. As you have mentioned before, we can give the buyers different choices: 1. Basic(which includes the ones you mentioned in the list) 2. Basic + Adafruite kit(For those who want to do some more experiments on Pi) 3. Basic + other kit Etc.
