Wow some of you are ignorant. Micca doesn't make the OriGen anymore, only the Plus. The OriGen is obsolete. Massdrop would only have the option of the Plus.

I didn't think my addition to the poll would blow up. Ive been wanting the OriGen since Zeos reviewed it. Just don't have the cash for it at the moment.

Glad it's working. Literally the only difference is a switch. If that drives people insane and claim the OriGen (non plus) is obsolete that's kind of on them. Not saying that's your claim, just stating for whomever may read this.

I can see that the Micca is a very well regarded unit at its price point (~100USD), however, it might not be a mid-range DAC.

Micca revised it, there is a new version now called OriGen+, it adds an another switch in the front where u can switch between front headphones and the rear pre-outs. A SPDIF rear input is also added. Now it no longer outputs to all the holes, which is awesome for setups with active speakers.
