Setting the midmarket at 900-1500$ is a bit arbitrary. Many mechanical watches, specially dive watches, vary wildly in price, and most of them are ETA or Miyota-based, which is why I suggested the Armida; it's cheaper, but definitely hangs with things like a MKII in terms of function.

max302I agree. This range is the very top end of the Miyota and very bottom end of the ETA. I would put 500-1000 in one group and 1000-2000 in another.
