I have the MUT EOD and I work with assault rifles on a regular basis, that being said its nice to have if you own guns period. The carbon scraper is a really nice feature but honestly thats about the only tool I use for assault rifles. I find myself using the tool more for everyday needs. Everything on it is well built, I use the wire cutters a lot for cutting metal tags off ammo cans and they are still as sharp as the day I got it.
Leatherman ST300 user here, i have to note that the black wave and MUT have EOD pliers and a C4 spike instead of the more mundane and useful tools in the silver ones.
I think a lot of peopke know about the MUT EOD and a lot have AR platform rifles. You don't have to work with them constantly to have a need for the EOD in your range bag. But, I would also be curious how many voters actually knew what tools were on the EOD.
I gotta have scissors. Any multitool is handicapped without them.

A knife and needle nose pliers are valuable as well.
Not a great poll, the diesel isn't that good a tool compared to the SOG which for some reason has a crappy name and bad description. The SOG has the diesel beat on pretty much every front and its only moderately more expensive.
I actually have one of the Gerber Diesels, and I have mixed feelings on it. It gets the job done, but the pliers seem a little loose and flimsy.
I'm curious if anyone voting for the MUT EOD knows what some of those tools do, because I honestly didn't think that many people worked with assault rifles or plastic explosives on a regular basis...

Was thinking the same thing. I voted for it because of the cleaning tool and carrier assist tool, both of which could be useful for my AR-15
