I myself actually have the DT990 Pro 250 Ohm headphones myself and I can honestly say that they are fantastic. Note that unless you've already had open headphones in the past, you may be underestimating how much noise gets in from the outside. There is no isolation whatsoever. This means that unless you are very attentive and or are in a very quiet environment, quite a bit of sound is lost due to the external noise. Alternative closed headphones I would recommend for gaming would be the highly regarded Creatuve Aurvana Live or MrSpeaker's Mad Dogs. Both are highly regarded for gaming and music while being closed headphones and I would say that they are great choices if you want isolation and great sound for gaming.
The best value for money headsets that provide great clarity and precise sound location. If you want bass look elsewhere :)
